A Peter Rabbit Baby Shower!

Today is Show us your life Friday at Kelly's Korner and the topic is Baby Shower ideas! Today's theme is so funny because I literally just threw a little family baby shower for my big sister last Saturday:) I am saving most of the pics for another post... but I will talk about the theme!

I chose a Peter Rabbit theme:) I loved Beatrix Potter when I was very little and she is the first author that I ever remember reading. My sister is having a boy so I thought Peter very fitting:)

I used paper products from Meri Meri; all the ones below:

These are the invitations I used! They are from Tiny Prints and were super cute!

I  lined the envelopes with some paper from Paper Source.  The paper was so beautiful I literally oooo'd and ahhhhhh'd when I opened the package.  It had lots of gold and sparkles!

I made tissue balls like these in blues and yellows!

OK. Here is a sneak peek at the cake. It was made by Tracey who also did my wedding cake and it was sooooo goood! The flavor was red velvet with buttercream icing. If you look closely you can see that she incorporated the baby from the invite in the cake design at the bottom.

For favors I made cakeballs with a blue coating and I used these tags on them.

Finally this is the dress I wore! I found it a couple of months ago and thought it was perfect for the theme. This lovely is from Modcloth:)
