Whew, I have been busy at work but thankfully our busy season is winding down. It was so cold this morning, the air had a chill in it that is normally reserved for late October and I clung to it. The leaves have yet to start to turn colors but all around the animals are starting to prepare for the winter ahead. Acorns are being put in woody storehouses and the birds are readying for their holiday in some exotic place. You might have guessed but I was born in the fall and it embraces me like a grandmother who has cookies waiting. I have taken to extra hot bubble baths and the reading of some of my favorite novels. These are some of my fall favorites below and I have indeed pulled out a flannel nightgown; it has reached the 40's at night here. Wish me well, I am off to run a 5k tomorrow. Good night sweets!

ReplyDeleteHi Josie!!! Thanks! I finished the race and ran the whole way. I went a little slower and kept telling myself the story of the tortoise and the hare. HA! Thanks for the prayers, they helped me finish.
